Description
Multiple funded PhD and MSc graduate student positions are available at the University of Manitoba (Canada). The hired students will work on building effective technologies enhancing the transparency and trustworthiness of computing systems in the new era of interconnected intelligent systems.

Role Description
The Graduate Research Assistant will be involved in conducting research, developing, validating and integrating security solutions, data analysis, communicating and supporting knowledge transfers on a day-to-day basis, and writing high-quality research papers.

Qualifications
  • Master's: Interested candidates must or close to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant fields with a minor in Computer Science (minimum of 5 courses in CS. The full list of courses in CS can be found at https://umanitoba.ca/science/computer-science/course-offerings). Desired expertise include: system and network security, solid background in Operating Systems and coding experience in Machine Learning (e.g., Deep Learning).
  • PhD: Interested candidates must or close to have a Master's degree in Computer Science or relevant fields with a minor in Computer Science (minimum of 5 courses in CS. Having publication record for PhD applicants is preferred.
